Amazon Is Said to Split HQ2 Between New York, Northern Virginia

Amazon.com’s yearlong search for a second headquarters is nearing an end, people with knowledge of the matter said. One will be the Crystal City area of Arlington, in Northern Virginia, two people said. Another will be Long Island City, in the New York borough of Queens, other people said. An Amazon spokesman declined to comment.

Diesel Continues to Slide, Drops 1.7 Cents to $3.338 a Gallon

The U.S. average retail price of diesel dropped 1.7 cents to $3.338 a gallon as prices for West Texas Intermediate crude oil continued to sink despite concerns that global supplies could fall amid U.S.-imposed sanctions on Iran. It was the third consecutive weekly decline in the price of diesel.



Magnate Worldwide Acquires Domek Logistics

Shipping and logistics company Magnate Worldwide has announced the acquisition of Domek Logistics. Domek will integrate as an additional branch of Masterpiece International, MWW’s international freight forwarding and customs brokerage subsidiary, according to a Nov. 2 press release.
